Hi everyone,
My name is AuntieTJ1982.
A few weeks ago my eldest cousin on my mum's side of my family (my cousin's mum is my mum's twin sister) was diagnosed with kidney cancer which has spread to his spine.
He's only 45 years old.
He's a dad and grandad.
I'm not sure how many children and grandchildren he's got, but I know the mum of two of his daughters as we went to the same high school and we were also in the same drama group for our GCSES.
I've not been to see my cousin yet, but I really want to, but I'm worried that I'll get upset.
I said to my fiancé that I would like to see my cousin and he said that he would too. My fiancé and my cousin get on really well.
I said to my fiancé that we could ask my auntie if we can visit my cousin with her when she next goes to see my cousin.
To be honest, it's really only just hitting me that I'm going to lose my eldest cousin as he's always looked after his one of his sisters and 3 of his brothers.
I have been told by the person who did my limited capability for work assessment either last year or the year before as I didn't have a clue that I have a learning disability.
My two sisters and our brother are very protective of me even though I'm the eldest.
Extremely long story on that one.
