My mum has metastatic bowel cancer, and unfortunately she isn't for any treatment.
We don't have any idea regarding her prognosis/ time she has left with us.
She is slowly declining ( she was already quite frail before the diagnosis).
Has anyone had a similar experience? Or have any advice ?
Thanks !
Hi Keebriel
Not in a similar situation and I don't have any particular advice, but I think your post title 'Making the most of now' sums it up.
As another person with a parent going through cancer, I can however emphasise with that wanting to just make the most of now and I can't enthasise enough how important it can be for both of you. Whether it's making new memories for you to carry with you, or just being able to make your parent smile for the smallest amount of time - those little things can be invaluable.
