Dad has today been given the updated news that he has stage 3 bladder cancer. The initial tumour was removed last month and now after further tests they want to operate again as soon as possible to check for any further tumours.
This is alongside the cancer on his kidney that he is awaiting treatment for, but from what I understand, they will prioritise his bladder treatment.
I'm struggling to take it all in and maintain the balancing act of allowing myself the grace to be emotional and sad, whilst also being strong for him and my siblings.
Hi 81Mike
I also have bladder cancer and had my second operation 4 weeks ago, get the results tomorrow, hopefully good news
I fully understand your dilemma, my wife and I have found the best thing is to talk about it and share our hopes and concerns with each other and family members, this was recommended to me by my sister who is a 10 year cancer survivor, think positive, there’s lots more people to help you
Sending my prayers to your dad for a full recovery
