Had a recent phone call with my Mum (58) to catch up on treatment/appointments and she disclosed to me how much her mental health was suffering. She was diagnosed in May and Tuesday will be her last chemo before surgery. Any tips on how I can help cheer her up at such a dark time, despite living abroad currently?
Thanks
Hi cowslip34878
It is really good that your mum can talk to you about her mental health because having that contact can be really positive, that friend in need moment.
We do have a booklet here that might help you Talking with someone who has cancer
