Hi, I found out recently that my friend has breast cancer which has spread to her lungs. This week she will go for a brain scan to see if it has spread again. She's only just been diagnosed, only just completed her first round of chemo.
I need to know how to support her, what can I say to help her as she's so incredibly frightened.
Sorry to hear about your friend hopefully she too may find some help in our community especially in our Breast cancer forum and Triple negative breast cancer forum where there are very many friends at different stages.
In terms of supporting her you might like to look at what to say to someone who has cancer though of course it is worth remembering they are still your friend and sometimes I know how important a normal conversation can be.
<<hugs>>
Steve
