After a year and 4 months battling with cancer, my boyfriend is going to die. The cancer has spread everywhere now and he’s been given a few weeks to live. He’s only 32. We were only together for 6 months before he was diagnosed. How do I cope with grief?
Are there any support groups for people my age?
I am so sorry you have to go through this pain, it is very tough have you been to your local McMillan unit as they will know if there are any support groups in your area. As for the grief do you have a close friend who's shoulder you can cry on it does help, my husband is also terminal and I have a really good friend who I can just pop round hers and just cry when I need to let go. It is a very hard road to travel. It does help putting on here how you feel as well. If I could give you a hug I would, stay strong.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
