My husband has just been diagnosed with an aggressive T4 lower oesophagus  cancer with,  it seems,  no surgery possible.  We've been told that palliative chemo could help, though not get rid of it.  It has spread to the stomach and bowel.
Chemo to start next week.

Hi. I’m so sorry to hear that. It’s awful. I wish I could say something to make things feel better. I’m on here as my sister is undergoing tests for bowel cancer.  Have you got a good support network? X

I have a small family,  they're great support but I still feel so very lonely in dealing with all this stuff.... It's like the worst roller coaster ride that you can't get off.... Scared of the cancer,  scared of the chemo scared of losing my rock... Just everything

  • Hi,have u seen the posts by Puggymama? Tho it' s her mum who has cancer, u both  talk of feeing so lonely. Maybe u could support each other?

Fear of the unknown is the worst thing. Once we know what we're facing, we find the strength to deal with it.
