Image: Flora and foliage from winkers60
We firstly just want to say a big thank you to everyone that made the Spring Spotting 2025 and Summer Spotting 2025 threads so beautiful!
As we approach the new season, we have created this new Autumn thread. We have chosen these wonderful images from winkers60 (thank you Jane) to start this new Picture Festival. Although these images were taken in the Springtime, we think there's an autumn feel to them. What do you think?
We have featured more of your images in our latest Community News Blog here. Can you find your photos?
This is an opportunity to share a photograph you’ve taken, or something you have made along an "Autumn" theme. We'll be sharing the highlights in a Community News blog. In addition to photographs, you are also welcome to share artwork, poems, or anything creative.
Use the “Reaction” buttons below each post to let us and other members know what your favourite posts are!
Please just make sure not to share a picture which could indicate where you live, such as the front of your house, just for your safety online. Please also be mindful and avoid sharing personal photos, such as photos of other people, family members or children, as the Online Community is a fully public platform.
Are you already spotting new and beautiful colours in nature? What animals and birds are visiting your garden? Perhaps you have some new themes for your Autumn Picture Festival?
We're looking forward to seeing your pictures, artwork and other creativity!
Loch Torridon in the Highlands of Scotland
Wow! Thehighlander what a wonderous view, thank you for sharing
I hope you don't mind me joining in with a photo I took last year.
The photo is dated 8th October 2024, so it just shows it won't be long before all the leaves will turn shades of ruby and gold this year.
It could well be a cream wave. Moth names are usually quite basic, how’s this for a holly blue ?
What a stunning photo, I have just been unsuccessful in capturing butterflies and moths on my lunchtime walk, as they always fly away before I can get a focus!
