Hello everyone,
We absolutely loved seeing all your pictures in the Spring Picture Festival thread this year. Let's keep this going and share your summer photographs, arts and crafts, pictures of pets and anything you feel represents your summer.
This is an opportunity to share a photograph you’ve taken, or something you have made along a "Summer" theme. We'll be sharing the highlights in a Community News blog.
Use the “Reaction” buttons below each post to let us and other members know what your favourite photos are!
Please just make sure not to share a picture which could indicate where you live, such as the front of your house, just for your safety online. Please also be mindful and avoid sharing personal photos, such as photos of family members or children, as the Online Community is a fully public platform.
We understand that summer can be a difficult month for some to get through. We have some tips and support on Community News, including our blog on Keeping safe in the sun and Feeling the heat? Here are some tips to help you stay cool. We'd like to see pictures of your summer, even if your summer might look different to someone else's.
We're looking forward to seeing your pictures!
Georgous pictures, colours and names...I am definitely going to start looking at roses more, just love these x
Thank you, yes it is pretty big. Been doing some smaller flower bed areas as well recently. It's starting to look good. One of the positives from the cancer is that because I have not gone back to work I am able to spend some time getting it nice again. We have a storm coming this pm apparently so not sure will get much done today!
It must be lovely to be good at gardening, and perhaps you'll be able to find something easier to manage? It's good to have a project, can you take cuttings from your garden with you?....I am trying to sound as though I know something about gardening. I buy plants each year from a lady down the road to raise money for a charity project, a bit of a cheat, but then I can grow tomatoes in pots....and my daughter and I started a herb garden...so some e hope!
My creative side is more with painting and I am hoping as I have this unexpected time from work that I will be able to discover this again. I love painting people

You are a talented artist and it’s great if you can have more time to paint.I don’t know where I’ll be living next.I’m hoping to have a garden but I may end up in a flat. It’s all unknown at the moment. My mum died in Jan last year and I have to sell the house we shared up until she went into a nursing home.
Oh,Im sorry to hear that. It's hard when it's unknown and can feel unsettling..just remember how strong you are and try to take one step at a time! Sending hugs x
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
