Sad

So sad, so very sad 

Low mood takes me over so completely 

The bottom of the well is so empty 

and dark, always dark.

So tired, so very tired 

Of trying to be brave 

Trying to smile, trying to hope.

It's peaceful down here 

Really peaceful but alone 

Not lonely, just alone.

Darkness envelopes me, soft darkness 

Keeps me quiet, ssshhhh 

Life hasn't turned out

quite like I thought it would.

This is my place for now.

Hiding in the well 

In the dark.
