Hi Newfoundland I have had a lot of chemo over my 26 years treatment but not Capecitabine but let’s see if someone with the some experience to pick up on your post.
You may want to put Capecitabine into the Community Search tool near the top as this will bring up all the older posts from people who have experience.
Hi Newfoundland,
My husband has been on his first cycle of capecitabine and at the end of the 14 days his feet were red and sore.
He had been using o’keefes foot cream on his feet since the start of treatment and UDDERLY SMOOTH extra care cream with 10% UREA on his hands.
His hands are fine so he switched to the UDDERLY SMOOTH extra care cream with 10% UREA for his feet, he is a lot better and on the mend.
He is however on his rest week so maybe being off the tablets has helped too. We will find out for sure when he starts his second cycle.
Hope this helps.
