Hi I wonder if anyone can help. My husband has just finished his 2nd cycle of Capecitabine. His mouth is really sore and he has been given mouthwash from his oncology team. However he's finding the usual Sensodyne sensitive toothpaste is not helping. I've been looking for toothpaste without SLS in it and which don't have mint flavours. Has anyone used anything which they have found helpful? There are quite a few available...some very expensive!
Many thanks.
I like the taste of Ecodenta black cinnamon toothpaste that I am pretty sure is SLS free as are others in their range. It doesn’t taste minty and it’s not hugely strongly cinnamon taste either.
Thank you I will have a look at that one.
I have recently switched to Zing toothpaste - it is really spendy compared to the usual ones but it is so lovely! I use Lemon and it's like brushing my teeth with lemon meringue pie . I know, though, that Holland and Barratt do quite a few non SLS / non minty ones. Good luck!
Thanks so much I'll have a look....might even try myself!
They are really good, it's online so there's always discount codes on the offing!
