I’ve only had one cycle of chemo and already getting pins and needles in my hands so I just wondered if anyone had tried using compression gloves or socks to try and prevent it and if so, please can you share what you used/recommend?
Hi Snoopchoc
This link may help.
Chemo Gloves and Socks: What They Are & How They Work
I had carboplatin and paclitaxel chemo for endometrial cancer in 2022. My neuropathy started as tingling, pins and needles- in my finger tips and toes but did increase. My consultant adjusted the paclitaxel dose to try to prevent any further damage. I would suggest mentioning it to your nurse/consultant.
You could give the Support Line a call tomorrow and ask about recommended gloves and socks.
