Morning all, hope you are doing well.
Day 12 after chemo number three and I still have numbness and pain on the top of my hand after canular insertion for last chemo . I thought it might be a side affect of the drugs but I had a very severe pain in fingers - like an electric shock, when canular was inserted this time . I fear I might have nerve damage ( temporary or longer term ) and wonder if others have suffered similar please? Thank you so much for any responses in advance .

I have lots count of the cannulas I have had over my 25 years ….. and a number of time I had some temporary nerve damage due to the line being inserted….. at time it took a good number of weeks to pass.
