Capecitabine and exhaustion and mental health help please

Hi,

Looking for some advice.  My husband has been through surgery and a mix of Oxaliplatin by IV and Capecitabine tablets for 2 weeks in every 3 week cycle.  We thought he was coming to the end of this, however it looks like they want him to stay on the Capecitabine tablet cycle for a while yet.  He is really struggling with exhaustion, add to that he has a mental health illness that means his mental health becomes extremely low when he is overly tired for any period of time, and although medicated for that, he is really struggling, and I'm getting very concerned about the impact him staying on Capecitabine will have, but equally he is only 42 and had late stage 3 bowel cancer so we want to ensure we do everything to avoid reoccurrence as unfortunately he has high risk factors for that.

Does anyone have any advice on how to help him?  Are there any supplements or anything he can take that might help?

Feeling hopeful....
