Hi again Linkan2 ….. can I suggest that you join and put this question up in the dedicated…
……. support group as this will connect you with others who have first hand experience of these treatments.
Chemotherapy treatments can be ever so different across different cancers types….. For instance these 2 drugs are used to treat different types of cancer so the protocol for one cancer type may be very different to another cancer type.
As I have a blood cancer I was having very different types of drugs and these were administered at various times bout the main regimen was 3 weekly…… and in blood cancers Cold Cap is not recommended as the Cold Cap stops the chemo affecting the head (obviously reducing hair lose) but as blood cancer go where the blood goes the head has always to be treated ((hugs))
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
