Hi
I start my treatment tomorrow, and feeling very nervous.
I don't know what is the best thing to wear or take.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Hi Sarah67 . Chemo treatments vary, but some general tips. It can be a long day in the chair, so wear loose and comfortable clothes. Take snacks and drinks. Something to keep you busy like book, phone, tablet. Long phone lead if you have one. Log in to the NHS free wifi. Some chemos can cause mouth ulcers so get a good quality mouthwash and use regularly to help prevent this. Chemo lounges may sound a bit daunting but you should find they are usually friendly and upbeat rather than being all doom and gloom as you may expect. I hope it goes well. Best wishes.
