Had my spring covid before my chemo session in May and was ok. So have booked to have both winter covid and flu the day before my next chemo. Spoke to my consultant and they said it was ok as these jabs don’t go into veins as the chemo does. So on that advice I’m going to give myself some protection.
Hello Loony
Thank you for sharing this with others. It is always good to check with your doctor before having any jabs during chemo but it is reassuring that they have said it is ok. Hopefully it will give you some protection during your treatment and after.
