Hi Jay29 I see it’s your first post so welcome to the community.
I see you have also joined our dedicated Breast cancer group. If it is Breast Cancer you are going to be treated for you would find it helpful to post in that group as each cancer type can have different treatment and experiences.
My first appointment was paper work, consent forms etc and the oncologists explaining the treatment
My first was paper work and a more in-depth conversation about the treatment. My next was an actual appt with a nurse. I was on a drip feed chemotherapy and took 3 hrs !. However it's a lovely environment, with fab calm cool staff, free tea n coffee with biscuits and if you go in on the right day you can get a massage from Gabby. The whole 3 hrs was fantastic and looked forward to it every week. Just relax and enjoy
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
