Oral capecitabine and anti sickness medication

Hi , I have had about 9 or 10 cycles now and found  hand and foot problems getting worse each time, but now i seem to have found a magic cure. I take a bath with bath salts and essential oils every couple of days and it really seems to help. Of course, just soaking feet in it would work too, but I like a long soak in a bath. I still use the lotions ( mainly e45 as most convenient and least expensive) and they of course do help. Hope it might work for you too.

Thanks for this advice. I will try soaking my feet as suggested. Which essential oils do you find most effective please? 

Not sure it would matter, but I am using sage oil at the mo, but am sure any other nice smelling ones will be a pleasure to use. My feet still look purple but no dry skin and feel much more comfortable for walking.

Thanks again. I like using lavender oil so will start with that and see how things go for me.
