Hi I was diagnosed  with Stage 3 Bowel cancer in March this year. I had cancer removed and was given colostomy as part of op. I now have a stoma bag attached . Currently I am going through 3  episodes of chemo. Like everyone else on chemo good days, ok days & yuk days.

What I want to find out is what happens after 3rd cycle of Chemo? Can anyone advise?

Phil

  • Hi Phil and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm sorry to hear that you were recently diagnosed with bowel cancer and it's natural to want to know what will happen after your last cycle of chemotherapy.

I can't answer your question but thought I'd suggest that you join and post this question in the bowel cancer group, as I'm sure the people in that group will be able to share their experiences with you.

To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post questions after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

Each day is a gift and not a given.
