Just finished my first 3 week cycle. I have had bad scalp pain. Has anyone else had this? And more scarily is the hair less permanent?

    Hi Nell,

Sorry to hear about the chemo being postponed...what a situation with CV. Unnerving actually when you know that they are putting us down the list. I can imagine you are feeling rubbish - I would have felt gutted. Doesn't even seem quite right actually.

Let us know how the scan went - really praying that it will go well for you. Cancer these days is manageable, if not altogether banished, and so many I know tell me that one can live to old age with it. There was a lady in last time I was in for chemo - she had been coming in for the pat 17 years off and on! Made me realise that this is perhaps like a lot of other "conditions" that have to be treated from time to time.

    Take care of yourself.

    Hello Y,

So glad to hear that. Sounds like it was done to a high standard of care. So good to hear.

Hope you are feeling ok today. You could check if a district nurse can come in for picc cleans and injections - unless they are chemo injections. I have the district nurse coming once a week to clean picc line - though I am not sure which is worse...having them come in, or us go out.

    Wishing you are good recovery
