Hi there, I have recently been asked would I like to start a drug called lynparza, it's been about a few years but recently been through a clinical trial to be used in a different way, benefitting those who are Brca positive and have not had a reoccurrence ... I have been through the ins and outs of the drugs but wondered has anyone here taken the drug and did they get on with it ok? I hate the idea of long term medication with serious chemo side effects but if it keeps me cancer free for a good few yrs it's worth it!
Hi Hooked66
I've not taken this drug but noticed that you hadn't had any replies.
I typed 'Lynparza' into the search bar in this group and din't get any hits but found lots when I typed it into the search bar in the ovarian cancer group, which I see you're a member of.
You could copy and paste your post from here into a new thread in the ovarian cancer group and also read the older posts about Lynparza, replying to any of the more recent ones if you need to ask further questions.
I wish you all the best with your new treatment.
x
