I'm on a two weekly chemo of FOLFOX, but my last treatment was delayed a week due to low neutrophils. Treatment no. 4 went ahead after 3 weeks. After another 3 week break, I was supposed to have treatment no.5 today, but yet again my neutrophils are too low., meaning it'll be 4 weeks before my next treatment, which will be decreased by 20 percent to see if that helps. I've had 6 self administered injections after treatment 3 and 4, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Anyone else had this problem?
Hi Jersey Lily
I'm sorry to hear about the problems you're having and the delays this means. I haven't the experience you need but noticed that your post had gone unanswered.
Could I suggest that you also post your question in the bowel cancer group, which I see you're a member of, as there could be people in that group who will be able to help you.
Wishing you all the best
