My husband has terminal cancer and recently suffering with liver abscesses and a portal vein thrombosis; he is due to go to the GP surgery for a blood test today, but is too frightened to leave the house at the moment (having been identified as extremely vulnerable and advised to stay in the house for 12 weeks at least). I have tried to get a district nurse to come out to him but they have failed to phone back ....
I think he should go for the blood test but he is terrified of catching the virus knowing he wouldn’t survive it, it’s weighing one risk against another, looks like I’ll be cancelling that appointment.
Just another stressful day.
