Before our change of treatment and the month off he would be on cycle 10 of folfox and pani on Wednesday. I am glad he is being given a break, today has been really bad. His tiredness seems to be overwhelming, he has just gone back to bed again. He is also feeling the cold really badly.
I really hope the month off will help, maybe even put some weight back on for him. Life is a worry at the moment.
Happy Sunday everyone. Keep safe.
That sounds like chemo…. my husband lost so much weight, 72 kilos down to 57 kilos. He was referred to the nutritionist who prescribed some milkshake drinks. He hated them but they seemed to help. A few months after he stopped chemo and went on immunotherapy, his appetite came back and he’s now up to 70 kilos. He still feels the cold though and wraps up even when it’s warm. He gets tired often, but nothing like the chemo exhaustion….. Hope the month off chemo helps your husband a bit. Feeling worried seems like par for the course, even when things are going okay there’s a low-level anxiety about what might be around the corner.
