My husband had stopped morphine after 6 weeks ( throat cancer radiation) he is feeling flu like and loss of appetite. Anyone experienced this?

if your husband stops opiates suddenly he will get withdrawal. What he needs to do is to take a couple of weeks at least to taper the dose. Either that or spend a week feeling utterly awful.
Has he got any morphine left? I suggest half dose right now. The result will be almost instantaneous.
Trust me. I did the same and lasted an hour!
