Hi folks
I'm new to this forum but would just like to ask people's opinions and help please.
My partner is palliative, nothing can be done. We thought he'd have a couple of years but last month his condition plummeted, the cancer is spreading much quicker than we expected so his time is getting a lot shorter.
At the moment he is still able to get about, we have a mobility scooter and he has all the pain management needed. I'm keen to make the most of this short time we have, go out and do things because very soon he won't be able to.
However, all he wants to do is spend all day and night watching TV.
Do I just have to accept this? Or can I motivate him? Make him understand that we really don't have time to waste before he is incapacitated.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
