I know this sounds trivial my husband has just had his 2nd round of chemo today for stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer i have tried and tried to be supportive but in his eyes i am stupid and cant do nothing right if i get upset he doesnt even notice i cant tell him how i feel cos he walks away i know people say ignore he doesnt mean it but that is so hard .because i have feelings too i just wondered if anyone else has this problem.
Hi Patience. That sounds like a really difficult situation. Just keep telling yourself youbat4 doing the absolute best you can. You are entitled to be emotionally shot to pieces. I was terrible for about 6 months when my partner was diagnosed. There's no manual for this, patients or carers. I am guessing your husband just doesn't know how to deal with it. I found a shout into a pillow, a walk in the fresh air and breathing meditation helped me.
Hope you both find a way to deal with this awful situation.
