My husband of 5 weeks (we brought our wedding forward) has advanced liver cancer and no treatment is possible.
He is out of hospital after 4 weeks to enjoy time as much as possible.
His failing liver is causing increasing issues.
We are obviously devasted and sad about what wont be
I tend to check in him lots and this frustrates him as he wants the 'normal' me.
Just want to enjoy the time we have but the sadness and anticipatory grief takes over at times.
No point to this post but know people will be going through similar and any advice etc happily received.
Hi MrsRM
Welcome to our community, I hope you find it both informative and supportive.
Sorry to hear about your husband, though glad to hear you managed to get the wedding arrange.
There is quite a good article on here Coping with anticipatory grief when you're supporting someone living with cancer and I wonder if something in there might be helpful to you.
<<hugs>>
Steve
