Hi guys,
New to the group and forum.
My mum has lung cancer, can't believe I've said it. We found out there was something there last year, but from day one she has said 'I don't want to know anything, if they find anything, I don't want anything done, I'm 83 and I don't want to be poked and prodded'. Jump forward to today, it has been confirmed that she has stage 3. A year on, she still doesn't want to know anything. I'm finding it hard, I know I'm doing the right thing respecting her wishes. I just wondered if anyone else has ever been in this situation? She's asymptomatic currently, and living life, but I wondered at what point do I involve the team?
Thank you for any advice/help.
