Mum was recently diagnosed with DCIS breast cancer in both breasts. The doctors think they have caught it early because of her keeping up with her mammogram checks so currently going through biopsies and then awaiting a surgery date.
Mum also has lupus so her immune system is already not great. I also have lupus so I know how to care for her in that respect but cancer on top of it has thrown me completely. I don’t know what to say or do that can help her or even how to feel myself.
any advice would be greatly appreciated
