Hi everyone,
I have been writing on here for a few days…going on about how I am struggling to cope. Today I plucked up the courage to contact my GP and ask for help.
The GP I got put through to was very supportive and offered me help and support. My point in letting people know this is to say thank for putting up with my recent rambling but more importantly to say please don’t struggle for so long you lose your sense of self in the chaos that is being a carer. Please take every opportunity to get as much help and support as you can from every where.
Hi teatowel, I am plesed to read you took this step. Yes its so hard but so important and I hope you get more support.
I would agree, any help, however small, adds up and can make this awful journey that teeny bit more bearable.
And dont worry about rambling, its important to use this space if it helps, I wish I had used it much more when I was tearing my hair out every night.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
