My husband had his 1st dose of chemo last Friday. His done well due to the bolus dose of steroids he came home with verbal diarrhoea and energy it was fantastic to see as the steroids diminish and only has a smaller dose in his system 10mg prednisone daily his becoming tired again. Side effects of prostate and bladder cancer is fatigue and from the hormone injections has any one else had a similar experience? Will he get his energy back in the future? Would be interested in other people's experience
My wife's cancer is very different but can relate to the issues you raise. What I can say is that generally the side effects of chemotherapy do fade in time. For us of course this is countered by the getting older bit.
