Hello I’m new here and I am a carer for my friend who has cancer and can’t walk I am her only support as her mum and dad are both dead and I am looking for support for myself as it’s very hard hope to get support here
Sorry to hear about your friend, has she had a needs assessment ? That might identify some support that might take some of the burden off of you.
If you are a unpaid carer you should be able to get a carer assessment too.
Have you talked to your GP? I know in my role as carer to my wife mine has been very supportive.
