Hi there,
I Am caring for my mother who has stage 4 cancer and having chemo. She lives alone so I stay with her during the week and another family member comes at weekends. I also have a full time job. I feel like I can’t give either my full attention and feel selfish if I prioritize myself. I have people to talk to but can’t seem to be honest.
Hi Lilalu welcome to the forum. You are perfectly entitled to prioritise yourself and don't let anybody tell you different..you are as important as anyone in this.. Can you take time off from work or is that not something you want to do..Can the other family member offer anymore time to come and stay with your mum giving you some much needed time out. What's stopping you being honest? Best wishes Gail x
