I cared for my mum after her diagnosis, I'm so glad I did she was my best friend. She passed away July 2024 and I miss her
Hi Jo12
Welcome to our community though sorry to hear about your loss. It can be very powerful to be able to support a loved one through this and often we can surprise ourselves by what we can achieve.
I know how much I missed my mum after she died especially as she was like the glue who held out family together.
You might like to look at our Bereaved family and friends forum where there will be people sharing their experience of coping after the loss of a loved one.
<<hugs>>
Steve
