My beautiful daughter age 22 is now terminal after 3 year fight osteosarcoma
can’t believe this is actually happening to me and esp to her
tears run out for now and no idea of timescale
Hi Diwardy
So sorry to read about your daughter, it can be challenging enough dealing with a spouse with cancer and while I can try to think what it might be like having this for my son it is not something I can really imagine, though we do have a group Parents of children with cancer forum that does aim to support parents regardless of the age of their offspring.
One thing that has been discussed is how might a timescale help - with sarcoma being a rare cancer timescales are often more of a guess too. When Janice was diagnosed she never wanted to know how long - and nobody would have guessed the answer we got anyway - her cancer was always incurable but she seems rather determined to make the most of every day.
<<hugs>>
Steve
