This will be my last post on here
So from being told two weeks ago that my husband probably had months left and me going back to work for two days a week to try to keep my income going he is gone.
Had a fall on Saturday (last week ) after which he seemed to be fine but he needed to be checked out as he banged his head and is on blood thinners. Took him to the hospital but as the days went on was clear he was getting worse and on Wednesday we decided a fast track discharge was the best option as he just wanted to be at home. By Friday we had to call in the hospice at home team as he wa’t able to take medication orally and in the early hours of Saturday he was gone. He instantly looked younger again and so peaceful. I am heartbroken as he was the true love of my life but can take mfort that I was able to care for him at home at the end as was his wish.
Oh my goodness Jillybean, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I wish you the strength to get through this difficult time somehow. Your husband is at peace now xx
That sounds truly heartwarming…just remember u r awesome…
my love will one day go as well.I can’t help that feeling
