Travel Insurance?

Hello amcam2001,

I found reasonably priced cover via Albert & Eddie which is a comparison site owned by the parent company that also owns Insurancewith and Holidaysafe (I went with Holidaysafe).

There is also a travel insurance forum on here where you may find other recommendations and I've attached a link to this below.

I hope you can get fixed up for a reasonable price.

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community, and having had cancer twice, I know how tricky getting travel insurance can be.

The best place to look for recommendations is over in the travel insurance group. Once you've joined have a look through the thread there called Members recommended travel insurance which you'll find on the first page. They are full of recommendations from other cancer patients who have got travel insurance.

I personally have used payingtoomuch.com and goodtogoinsurance.com in the past.

Travel time insurance or good to go travel insurance

Hey 

I've used good to go insurance three times now. 

The quotes range between £250 and £360 based on my travels (5-7 days, European travel) 

Some areas cost more due to how the counties treat you, Spain for example costs more as they generally use more private based treatment centres for tourists rather than standard hospitals. Greece so far has been the cheapest place to travel too.  

The process of getting a quote has always been really quick and simple and totally online based. 

I'm stage four on palliative care medication.  

I did recommend travel time insurance but now I wouldn't recommend them now after trying to claim due to my husband's cancer diagnosis for a second time, they are refusing to pay out, I've made a complaint,not sure why we even bother with insurance if we can't claim
