Dear All,
My sister has been diagnosed with lung cancer (non small cell) stage 4 in January 2026.
Currently in hospital, treatment (immunotherapy only option) has been refused by oncologist due to poor pt performance (she is ps3)...
Does anyone know private oncologist who may have different approach and try immunotherapy on pt with ps3?
Thank you
Hello London
Welcome to the Macmillan Online Community and I am so sorry to find you joining us.
I am Brian one of the Community Champions here on the online Community. I can't answer your question as I have a different cancer, however I can tell you that the Community is divided up into cancer specific groups or chat rooms. May I suggest you join the Lung cancer group link here:
Once you click on the link I have provided and the page opens up, click on "join" on the black banner at the bottom of the page.
