I’m feeling pretty helpless at the moment for my Dad. Having treatment put on hold is scaring me. Constantly thinking that he tumour is growing everyday that his treatment can’t go ahead because of lockdown. Just don’t know how quickly the tumour can grow and it’s terrifying me
Sorry to read about your dad's treatment being put on hold. Have they mentioned any other treatment they can offer him like a chemo tablet instead of surgery, or has he already had surgery of some kind ?
If you could mention which type of cancer he has and what treatment is on holdthere is probably a group for it where you can check if other members with the same type have been offered other options during this Covid nightmare ?
I'll keep an eye out for any replies and hopefully get back to you.
