Hello,
Has anyone had immunotherapy as a form of treatment for colon cancer?
Hi Andy. So my husband was put on nivolumab after mop up chemo failed after surgery he has been on it for 4 months and is doing fantastic he's 1st scan in November showed stable and also shrinkage in 1 lymph node the side effects aren't half as bad as chemo either so this is very good too.
Thanks for the update Hayley. Im in a similar situation where my adjuvenal chemotherapy has failed. Im in with my consultant next week so just trying to make sure im going armed with all the options available. I'll make sure I mention this treatment. I'm glad your husbands doing well - the better stories are always a boost!
Hi Hayley
how is your husband doing on the immunotherapy? My husband has just gone on to it x
Hi. So my husband had 8 rounds of immunotherapy but it had to be stopped due to causing ulcerative colitis after 10 months of no treatment we found out he is in remission so he went from palliative to cancer free in 1 year. We are actually due his scan results today it's the first scan he has had since we found out he is in remission so quite nervous about this hence why I'm awake at 3am I hate scan results day. Hope you are feeling okay xx
