My mother who has stage 4 colorectal cancer has recently gotten a nephrostomy to try save her kidneys and allow her to continue chemotherapy. Its only been two days, but the pain seems to be like a lot and shes having trouble even finding a good resting position since the tubes are through her back. A couple questions - is there anything I can do to helps? Do back rubs, hot packs, etc help at all? Additionally, what positions can I suggest for her to sleep in? Many thanks
