Hello everyone,
I started taking anastrzol approx 3 weeks ago and having worked out it’s better for me taking it in the morning, I’m wondering when people notice their hair thinning or joint aches? Having noticed anything so far but would appreciate any others experience with this?
Thank you
Fiona
Hi Fiona FMB ...... again I would post this question in our Breast cancer support group as this will connect you with people who have walked the same journey as this is a general support group and not many people use this group ((hugs))
I’ve heard from a friend who had a similar experience while taking Anastrozole. The main thing is to use only high-quality Anastrozole from reliable pharmacies, then you can be sure of a positive result. She mentioned that after a few weeks of use, she began to notice joint aches, particularly in the morning. However, for her, the hair thinning became noticeable only after a couple of months. She found it helpful to stay active with light stretching and yoga to ease the joint stiffness. For the hair thinning, she started using a mild shampoo and a biotin supplement, which seemed to help minimize the effects over time.
If you're not noticing any side effects yet, that’s a good sign! Everyone reacts differently, so it’s great that you're monitoring it closely. Keeping an open dialogue with your doctor, especially if anything changes, is key.
Hopefully, you’ll continue to feel well!
