Hello, I was wondering if anyone on here has advice that could help me. I had chemo, immediate reconstruction after a mastectomy, and then radiotherapy for Breast Cancer. The reconstruction was LDFlap with an implant. This was a year ago but still have bad pain in my arm and shoulder and the recon feels like it’s collapsed in places and really hard in others. I was in waiting list for further surgery but obviously that’s delayed. Has anyone got advice as to what may help please. I am taking Naproxen and Co-codamol but these don’t seem to make much difference. Many thanks

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm sorry to hear all the problems you're having to contend with at the moment.

Could I suggest that you also post this in the breast cancer group, which I can see you're a member of, as I'm sure there'll be people in that group who will be able to share their experiences with you.

Clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there and copying and pasting from here into a new post there will save you having to type it out again.

I hope you're able to get this sorted soon
