Hi VanessaThank you for your well wishes so glad to be home.  Still very tired and bit sore but, early days. My surgeon was able to say my nipple although after BCN was changing dressing yesterday and noticed it was very  red. So surgeon came from theatre to check it. Have to continue with my antibiotic and if it gets worse possibility it will have to be removed. Staying positive though and i cannot odds it if that does happen. So Tuesday will tell the outcome

Hi  Everybody

I was back with my Surgeon and BCN today. Drain has to stay too much coming out of it and Surgeon still not happy with redness, so have to continue with antibiotic . Have to go back on Friday to get drain taken away as dont like to keep it in longer than two weeks . Surgeon also to check redness and if no change to decide what happens next.

I hope that you are doing as well as can be expected and enjoying the sun.

Hi Angela I'd been wondering how you were getting on, not great news but here's hoping the antibiotics for longer will reduce infection.At least you are still in the comfort of your own home and able to recoup better, best wishes you get better results really soon.Vanessa x

Definitely better off at home in your own surroundings, you get fed up in the hospital and want your own bed.

Im positive all will work out ok, i say what will be will be.  If i didn't have my faith i think my attitude would be different. I think will all have something that helps us to stay strong.

I go on Friday to get it checked again and my pathology results so i reckon Friday is going to be a good day.

Hi all

Was with my surgeon on Friday  my pathology results were negative so fabulous news. Still have  the pico dressing on battery pack as still red. Have yo continue taking antibiotic and go back on Tuesday.

Has this happened anyone else? Its just im  feeling tired and under the weather and this is day 17. 

Be grateful for any information or advice.
