Hi all, just a question if anyone can give some answers about if i should be chasing up a post op appt check up. I had most of my rectum removed and temporary ileostomy 3 weeks ago I thought I would've had appt by now to discuss findings and if i will need chemo ? I have appt for enema x-ray to check no leaks in my new reconstructed bowel that's 9/4. I just feel like im always having to chase up everything or am i just overreacting.
Hi Plymgirl
I don't know whether you should have had an appointment by now to discuss your results and future treatment as I haven't had your type of cancer and surgery.
It might be an idea to post this question in the bowel cancer group, which I see you're a member of, as the people over there are more likely to know what the timescales involved should be.
