Hello everyone,

the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx

    Thanks Moomy,

you are right of course. I think it's partly the thought of organising the work that needs doing, plus the upheaval of packing everything and moving. I've been worrying about all sorts of things, like whether there is enough storage, and whether I can get my craft cupboar apart to move. The trouble is when you are on your own there is no one to tell you when you are being silly!

  • Just do what you can, there's no need to try to be Superwoman!

I know it feels odd (says she who has seldom moved!) but you are doing this move for all the right reasons, so please,  for me, just take a deep breath, relax and tell yourself so! (and have a glass of wine, lol!)

    Sending you big hugs xxx

Hope things keep going well with the move Lynda & they don't take long with all the legal stuff

I'm not surprised your son was shocked Moomy,i'd have been in a right old state if that had been me

He's gone with friends for the TT & so far they've seen one practice as yesterdays was cancelled due to rain,i wish i was with him

    xx

I went to the IOM when I was a kid and they were practising for the TT racez. It was terrifying

Lynda, get all the help you can when moving, removals firms will pack for you as well if you want. I am sure your son will be with you all the way as well. It must be difficult on your own though. No one to tell you "to get back in the wagon woman" as hubby says to me when I start wittling
