Hello everyone,

the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx

  • Awww, bless the little pussycat!

That was so windy here, some huge scaffolding got blown over, son just missed it, was about to cross the road with a colleague, saw and heard something wrong, pushed colleague back into the building they'd left, he now says he feels 'odd', bless him. Think it's post trauma, I shook once I know too.....phew!

Hope you are all ok after that out-of-season weather?

    Hugs xxx

I guess you would feel odd after a close call like that. Fast thinking though

It /s all waiting isnt it Lynda. Good luck and hugs

  • Lynda, that waiting is almost worse than waiting in the NHS! Don't they reckon a house sale = 3 months?

    Frustrating!

Yes, I've only been waiting a week and it already feels like forever. The longer it goes on the more I question whether I'm doing the right thing.

that must have been really frightening for your son.

Gosh moomy that was lucky that he reallised something was amiss,i don't like the wind, you can't see it & it can cause so much damage, brother is in the Isle of Man & they've had really bad wind over there

    xx

  • Lynda, go with your gut feeling, you wanted to be near the family, it's a pretty place, you wanted to do it so it must be right! Questioning is natural, but take a deep breath and remember WHY you wanted to do it!

I think he was shocked after the event.....pretty bad for H&S I think especially being in Milton Keynes, where the last scaffolding fatality made big news.....he said police and cameras were on the scene fast.
